The Intelligent Learning Experience
Every child is unique and their pathway of learning is equally individual. While teachers strive to tailor lessons to match these individual needs, it's hard to ensure that the content reaches everyone.
The Brain – A Work in Progress
SuperSparks aims to offer each child a unique experience in learning maths, with tuition matched precisely to their level of understanding. Exercises, tuition and evaluation combine to engage interest, monitor progress and steer each user along their own independent learning pathway.
Modules, topics and exercises are presented across a suite of attractive and meaningful scenarios, all aligned to the curriculum and optimised for usability. Built on an advanced technological platform, the 'Brain' responds immediately to the child's progress. Errors trigger an instant diagnosis of the learning need, recognised by the prior learning pattern. Tailored tutorials with worked examples follow to coax the student gently back on track.
That means that the teacher's interventions can be as effective and rewarding as possible.
Versatility
SuperSparks will never replace the personal attention and skill of an experienced teacher, but it can provide teachers with a versatile resource. Once fully developed, options will include teach-the-computer remedies and peer-to-peer coaching during exciting interactive classroom workshops.
Not For Profit
Through an unparalleled investment of time, money and expertise, statisticians at ATASS are pooling the specialist mathematical capability, passion and funding to build and apply the unique technology. When ready, this versatile learning experience will be delivered at minimum cost to schools nationwide.
Our Prototype Needs Testing
